Week 8 Hip Extension Strengthening


I tend to use this exercise on clients who have little idea or little capability of pushing with hip and knee extension.If you carefully balance the client (no small if), then a small push from the client can produce a big and rewarding movement.I often end up taking this kind of client through the movement so she can get the feel of the motion… or as the case often is that the client will be motivated by the motion and want to repeat it. The further you have the client back on the ball, the less the client is fighting gravity so the easier it is for them.
