How Do You Get Twice the Hip Extension Work on Bridging? Use Half the Legs!: Bridging with 1 Leg C

This exercise is one step harder than a standard bridge. With the “free” leg crossed across the other knee, it can still help a little bit. This is an activity I might pick for a client with unilateral weakness like a hemi. Some clients like to play the game where the bridge comes up to allow the ball or the car to roll under their hips. The bigger the ball or the car, the harder this is.For some clients I just have them try to clear the floor momentarily and some I ask them to hold their hips up for 10 seconds.
